Therapists Transform Your Life with The Homestead Model™: A 6-Month Practical Journey to Nervous System Regulation
Ready to Transform Your Life with The Homestead Model™?
Embark on a transformative 6-month group program designed to help you achieve balance and a regulated steady nervous system. The Homestead Model™ is filled with practical, actionable strategies tailored to support neurodivergent individuals in both their personal and professional lives.
If you’re thinking, “Not another program!” – I hear you. This is different. As a once very shouty mum navigating neurodivergence, I created these strategies because I lived it. And I still don’t always get it right – but I also now have strategies in place for rupture, repair and recovery. They are rooted in neuroscience and my journey and the belief that real change happens when we apply what works – and these practices do.
I’m not going to go in depth with nervous system regulation theory – instead my laser focus is on hands on practical and accessible strategies to support you in making change.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of yourself, improve emotional regulation, or share these strategies with loved ones or in your practice, this program will give you the tools and support to thrive authentically.
You may already have all the books, cards, online courses and tools sitting gathering dust. Now is time to implement real life strategies that work. Are you ready to join me?
Discover the R.U.D. Process for Nervous System Regulation
The R.U.D. Process® – Recognise, Understand, and Diffuse – is a transformative method developed by Yasmin Shaheen-Zaffar to help neurodivergent individuals regulate their nervous systems through creative tracking and self-exploration.
Using reflective scribbles, doodles, colours, shimmies, and shimmers, this process turns self-monitoring into an accessible and enjoyable experience. Rather than focusing on traditional “feelings talk,” the R.U.D. Process emphasises identifying physical states, exploring thought patterns, and noticing body sensations. Suitable for those with R.S.D or Alexithymia.
Participants use creative mediums to map their experiences, making it especially suited for those with alexithymia or who find emotional language challenging. Integrated tools like the What’s My State? Cards and Track and Scribbledeedo® – Scribbles, Doodles, Colors, Shimmies, and Shimmers – provide practical and engaging ways to apply this method in daily life.
Change happens through increased self-awareness. By engaging in the R.U.D. Process, you’ll begin to monitor your nervous system and behaviours in a way that gathers invaluable insights. This journey will guide you to better understand your unique patterns, enabling you to make meaningful changes in how you respond to life’s challenges.
Over six months, Yasmin will lead you through this journey with compassion and care. In her non-shaming approach, she’ll show you how self-monitoring can become a powerful tool for self-discovery, helping you achieve clarity, balance, and steadiness. The R.U.D. Process® empowers you to step into a deeper connection with yourself and create lasting, positive changes in your life.
